LCD luxury for hotel bathrooms

Bathroom tv manufacturer Videotree has reported a large increase in enquiries for this type of product from within the hotel sector.

The company designs and manufactures a range of products using the latest Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Thin Film Technology (TFT) combined with its own hardware and software to create a collection intended to appeal to high end applications for TV and video across a number of different applications.

In collaboration with Armour Home Electronics the company has now come up with a state of the art LCD 17in Widescreen Bathroom TV, which allows easy installation and replacement without having to disrupt the bathroom wall.

The screen is made from a piece of glass which is bonded to the internal workings of the screen, allowing it to appear as if it is stuck to the wall with nothing supporting it. In essence it gives the appearance of the thinnest television in the world.

The glass is available in a number of colours including black, white or any pastel shade to match a colour scheme.

The new 17in model joins the company's existing 7in and 12.5in screens, the former designed to sit on a discrete stand between sinks and which can be colour coded to match a clients bathroom suites in terms of choice of colours for the front overlay and the rear casing.

Videotree is currently working with a number of hotels and developers including the Radisson Edwardian, One Aldwych, Von Essen, Red Carnation, LE Monde and Montpelier Hotels.
